Description

Two frogs lived on a pond.
While one took advantage of the warm water,
The other worried about the daily heatwave.

• Don't you find this weak humidity quite strange ?
• I don't mind what the weather will be tomorrow,

As long as my eyes shine and my stomach is full.

Days passed as the air became more scorching,
Discussions became heated between them.

• How can you not be distressed?

It's dreadful ! We could become as dried as figs,
And I seem to be the only one concerned!

• You bore me, so stop thinking Mrs Meteo,

I couldn't care less if you keep on crying,
The water level won't lower with your tears.

Some weeks later, both died on the shore,
The one who sacrificed her happiness in vain reflections,
The other who preferred satisfaction to boring thoughts.
Calling into question what we could waste or lose,
We forget to take advantage of what we can enjoy.
Happy are those who don't think about it.
